Ibiza’s rich coastline is full of paths and trails bursting with vegetation and breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. Put on your best hiking gear because we’re here to recommend several routes so you can discover even more about the island while practising one of its main attractions: Hiking.

Portinatx Cove - Cala d'en Serra

Length: 7.6 km

Difficulty: Moderate

Cala d'en Serra - Ibiza 5 Sentidos

A complete hiking route around Cala Portinatx, in the northwest of the island, in the direction of Far des Moscarter. It’s recommended for experienced hikers, as half of the route runs alongside a cliff, and the part of the forest is not marked. In addition, the path is generally not well signposted, and you have to be careful not to get lost. The excursion starts at the Playa Porto car park in Portinatx. It continues along a coastal path parallel to the Mediterranean Sea to Cala d’en Serra, where there is a beach bar where you can take a break, have a drink and rest before returning.

Siesta - Cala Blanca

Length: 6.3 km

Difficulty: Strenuous

Siesta - Cala Blanca, Ibiza, Spain - 125 Reviews, Map | AllTrails

A beautiful, fun and complete coastal route that combines landscapes and forest areas from the Siesta urbanisation to Valverde, in the surroundings of Santa Eulalia del Río. It is advisable to wear good hiking shoes because there are stretches with a lot of loose gravel. We recommend not walking on a circular route to avoid passing through private property.

Las Puertas del Cielo viewpoint - Penya Esbarrada

Length: 3.5 km

Difficulty: Moderate

Las Puertas del Cielo - The Ibiza Twiins

For this circular route along Ibiza’s spectacular coastline, you need to be in good shape, or you will be short of breath in the first 10 minutes. It starts in the western part of Santa Inés. The terrain constantly goes up and down, perfect for trail running training and adventurous hikers. Wear your best hiking boots and arm yourself with a hat, water and sunscreen. It is advisable to carry a map as there are several sections where it is easy to lose the trail.

Caló des Moro - Capella de Sa Talaia - Cala Gració

Length: 7.7 km

Difficulty: Easy-Moderate

Ibiza walk: Sant Antoni - Capella de Sa Talaia de Sant Antoni | Eco Holidays with El Ojo Azul Eivissa

A beautiful route through the surrounding area of the San Antonio Abad town. The route starts at the Caló des Moro car park. It continues past the Forn de Calç, the Capella de Sa Talaia, Carrer del Progres, Carrer de Mozart and Camí Can Negret before returning on a circular route along the seashore.

Ses Salines beach - Cap des Falcó

Length: 4.0 km

Difficulty: Moderate

Ses Salines - Santjosep.net

This route starts at Ses Salines beach, one of the most iconic beaches in Ibiza. The marvellous views of the Mediterranean and the trails that venture deep into the Ses Salines Natural Park will guide you through vegetation along the beachfront.
