Timna Weber explores the notion of change as a driving force to create more sustainable garments. If a garment can change with us, there would be no need to ever abandon it because of fashion, style or personal preference. Therefore, the label offers each piece available to be tailored and altered to the requirements of the client, inviting them into the design process.
Inspired by abstract art, Timna Weber merges and mixes materials to create assemblages of garments. Combining different techniques, styles, materials, and colors, the label’s design system seeks to assemble an ethereal link between often unconventional combinations. This design system imbues the garments with an openness that can enable their future change. The label offers limited edition pieces and also unique, made-to-order pieces to avoid overproduction.
Timna Weber studied fashion design at Atelier Chardon Savard & ESAA Duperré in Paris and Fashion Sustainability at the Sandberg Instituut in Amsterdam. She also worked in renowned fashion houses such as Sonia Rykiel in Paris. Taking all these learnings to heart, Timna brings 'the hand' into every garment, lovingly accepting slight imperfections as a measure of uniqueness.
Being close to the creative community and having a personal connection to her customers, Timna and some of her designer friends opened a store for independent designers called Alta store in Soho London in March 2023. It is a space for emerging brands to meet and showcase their work to a wider audience IRL.
