ART IN THE LOBBY

The island’s artiest hotel, Paradiso Ibiza Art Hotel, returns with a temporary art exhibition in the lobby featuring five artists whose work projects strength, personality and colour. Take note of these dates and get to know their incredible artwork for yourself.

JESUS SAVES IBIZA – 30th March to 23rd May

This Ibizan artist stands out for his original and colourful prints. In just two years, his works have made a name for themselves on the island’s art scene for their boldness and creativity. They combine unique concepts with vibrant colours, among which yellow stands out, symbolising light. His art seeks to build bridges between spirituality and technology while promoting human connection. Jesus Saves Ibiza is part of our temporary exhibition in the Paradiso Hotel’s lobby, where he displays previously unpublished works in several colour variations, available as Limited Edition prints. It will be his largest exhibition to date.

LEONA ROSE – 23rd May to 20th June

This young contemporary painter is a visual storyteller with her own varied and flamboyant universe, permeated with pop touches. Her works are captured in different formats, from murals to everyday objects, reflecting her constantly evolving creative spirit. Rose is inspired by physical and spiritual journeys, and her artistic expression is raw and spontaneous. Self-taught in painting techniques such as acrylic and Posca, she takes references from primitive art forms and figures such as the famous Mexican painter Frida Kahlo. Highly committed to various humanitarian projects, her artistic approach puts people at the centre, and her subject matter ranges from the tropical to the dreamlike.

DANIELA DÍEZ (CHENTA) – 20th June to 20th July

This graphic designer and illustrator from Ibiza lives between the island and Madrid. The artist presents her exhibition “Rest” as an invitation to stop and be invaded by the dreamlike spaces and corners to which our mind takes us when we are not thinking. It’s an ode to pause, contemplate, listen to the outside world, and see how it reflects in us. Her illustrations evoke images that represent this attempt to disconnect from a reality in which everything happens too fast. A momentary escape from the frenzy of everyday life, in which the excess of stimuli takes its toll.

CACHETEJACK – 20th July to 10th August

Cachetejack is a project formed by Nuria Bellver and Raquel Fanjul, a duo of Spanish freelance illustrators with a nomadic lifestyle who have worked together since 2011. Their illustration universe is full of colour, energy, humour and irony. Cachetejack’s handdrawn work adopts a fresh and unique style, making their work enormously versatile and creating synergies in a wide variety of media. These include clothing, drawings, paintings, murals, illustrations, books, newspapers and magazines such as Vogue Spain, El Pais and The Observer, the sister newspaper of the famed English newspaper The Guardian. When it comes to brands, Nuria and Raquel have worked with the big names: Mahou, Airbnb, Burger King, Mastercard, Facebook USA and Freshly Cosmetics. Is an artist and photographer born in Palamós, a tourist town on the Costa Brava, and comes from a family of fishermen. She likes to mention this because her work has always been influenced by her maritime origins and life near the sea. She is also inspired by the phenomenon of tourism and the silence and poetry that remains when she departs. Known for the presence of female figures and intimate portraits in her work, she achieves such proximity that you can feel their presence as part of the image. Sensitive, provocative, and assertive, Mónica enjoys contrasts and playing with duality. She brushes against the line and limit that separates and transforms the seemingly frivolous into something profound.
